I build brands and communities through the power of video
I have nearly a decade of experience in video editing with my clients from Singapore, Hong Kong and the United Kingdom, and have had the privilege of working on long-form and social media content with some of the world’s largest brands, television networks and government agencies.
As a freelance video editor, I can offer a more affordable service than if you work (in)directly with an agency or hiring a full-time editor. This means that your video content can be created faster, with less hassle, and only when you need it.
WHAT I OFFER
Cost-effective, hassle-free solutions
Video Editing
I offer an affordable and efficient postproduction service that will cost you less than an internal hire or an agency. You can book me on a project basis and my rates for work are transparent (see below).
Currently, my basic single day edit rate for 8 hours of work is US$250/CA$350. This rate includes initial scripting/storyboarding, 2 free changes,and graphics.
Video Editing (Discounted)
If you’re an early stage/bootstrapped startup, non-profit or student organisation who may not be able to afford my regular rate, fret not! I’m always happy to work with you to produce the branded content that you need.
I can discount my regular rate from 50% or more. This determination of status will be made on a case-by-case basis.
Consulting
I also offer a simple, no hassle consulting service if you’re interested in learning about the systems or processes to create your own branded promotional pieces.
Also, as a happy owner of a YouTube channel, I can also provide you a basic rundown of how to start a channel that suits your brand outreach needs.
I work remotely!
Wherever you are in the world, I’ll work with you.
I’ve been working remotely for the last several years and I’m able to be quickly based in Canada or Singapore for projects. Depending on where you are based and where I am at, this may mean:
- Work can be done overnight (in your time zone)
- I can physically visit you to collect your footage (at no extra cost)
HOW I WORK
My editing process
1.
Initial Call/Contact
After establishing contact through a call booking or an email request, I’ll speak with you to discuss how and whether I can take your work further. This is important because:
- We need to establish a working relationship
- I will need to understand your needs
- I will make a proposal based on your needs
- I could also refer you to other editors based on your needs (if I’m unable to work with you)

Post-Production
After the first call/meeting with me and when we agree on a proposed script and the scope of work, I’ll begin turning your videos or visual content into the content that you need.
- I will work according to an agreed timeline
- I will obtain the content necessary from you
- In some cases, I will provide additional content for your project
- We will communicate regularly to clarify if there are any additional amendments to the project
3.
Changes and Final Delivery
After the first edit has delivered to you, I’ll check back with you to ensure that you are getting the desired work. If there’s anything you’d like to change, I’ll make two changes for free. Subsequently, the following applies:
- Further changes are chargeable
- Further graphics work are chargeable
- I make all changes before rendering final edits and delivering a final invoice
